Stretching from Jacket's Point to Trebarwith Strand, this eight is a great way of discovering some of the toughest coastal path along the north coast of Cornwall. Well spaced ascents with plenty of recovery time between climbs makes this eight both challenging and relaxing.

Tregardock Beach is an anomalous sweep of rock strewn sand amongst high slate cliffs. With numerous rock pools and caves to explore the beach is a day out in itself.

When the time arives to discover the surrounding area, download the free sample of PoE11 in pdf format and take a stroll.

Fingers of woodland, rolling green fields and the magic of Backways Cove await discovery to the east. The westward loop offers a gentle valley descent to the strangely beautiful Jacket's Point and a low aerial view of Tregardock Beach from neighbouring Delabole Point.

This is a truly delightful eight giving some idea of the relationship between farming and the sea in this part of Cornwall.
